Growing up in Pennsylvania, beautiful visuals from nature are part of everyday life: seasons filled with color -- even the grays of winter, graceful hillsides and majestic mountains. When I moved to South Florida, the incredible contrast of vibrant palm trees, azure blue seas, and a heavenly blue sky awakened a creativity I knew I always had but never used.

I have been so fortunate to be under the tutelage of wonderful artists like Bill Hargreaves, Peter Olsen, Bonnie Husler, and Marty Martinez. Through instruction and encouragement I have created several oil paintings. Word Art, a genre that has existed for a long time, has become a passion, and my works in this medium have been juried into local prominent exhibitions. Word Art blends words and images, using collage and mixed media elements, into a finished work that emphasizes a particular subject. The works can easily be identified with modern life, merging humor and pathos.

I continue to learn and progress with each new piece of art I create. Art has finally become a platform for my God given creativity. I thank you for the opportunity to introduce my work and myself. Feel free to visit my website: Gloriouswords.com
