Susan Peck had her first one person Art Show at the age of 18. She was then a senior in High Shool. A full four year college Art Scholarship followed, and Susan earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Art Education/ Art History. A career teaching art on the elementary level followed. Her education was continued on a graduate level, with additional work in design and art history. After leaving teaching, Susan worked for a major corporation designing business graphics.

Susan then had her own business, creating and executing original murals for private residences. Business catalog design followed, and that lead to designing and producing a line of clothing highlighted by original artwork. This experience added another dimension to Susan's design and color awareness.

Painting and art have been present in Susan's entire life. Large canvases based on floral compositions are combined with an abstract sensibility and explorations with color. Metallic accents in the work reflect influeneces from the art of the Far East. The paintings being created today are expressions of life experienecs, inner journeys and the knowledge and appreciation of design essentials. The joy of color, and the beauty of nature's gifts are the spirit guides in these very personal works.
